Paul Toole

Paul Toole's commitment to community affairs commenced with his representation in local government in 1995, and from there, proceeded to the roles of Councillor, Deputy Mayor and Mayor of Bathurst Regional Council.

Under his leadership Bathurst became the fastest growing inland regional city in NSW.

Becoming the Member for Bathurst in the 2011 State Elections, Paul has established a solid focus and framework that has supported the economic development of our regional areas, including record investment into roads, education and infrastructure. As Minister for Local Government Paul brings a broad and hands on knowledge thats is supported by his many years of experience in local government. A graduate of Charles Sturt University with a Diploma of Teaching (Primary) (Dip.Teach), and as a father to three young children, Paul has a passion for education and the development of our regionals centres to ensure the future is bright for the coming generations.
