NEW AWNING FOR WALLERAWANG COMMUNITY AND SPORTS CLUB THANKS TO NSW GOVERNMENT FUNDING

UPGRADES at the Wallerawang Community and Sports Club are continuing thanks to the backing of local MP Paul Toole and the NSW Government.

 

Bathurst MP Paul Toole today announced he has secured funding of $30,000 for the club to construct an awning on the front verandah to provide shelter outside the new function and eatery section.

LUCHETTI SPORTSGROUND GETS ANOTHER BOOST

Member for Bathurst Paul Toole has announced more funding for Lithgow’s Tony Luchetti Sports Ground, which will benefit from a further $181,280 in funding as part of the NSW Government Showground Stimulus program.

Mr Toole said Lithgow City Council would receive funding to upgrade and improve the use and condition of their infrastructure, and support jobs in the local economy.

“When COVID-19 hit it forced the postponement or cancellation of agricultural shows and many activities that showgrounds rely on for their income,” Mr Toole said.

ANYONE FOR CRICKET? TARANA VILLAGE GREEN UPGRADE PAVES WAY FOR BAT AND BALL

The village green at Tarana is set for a make-over thanks to support from the NSW Government’s Community Building Partnership (CBP) Fund.

Bathurst MP Paul Toole today announced a grant of $8800 to the Tarana Valley Community Group (TVCG) Inc for a project aimed at improving the quality of life of locals and visitors alike.

He said TVCG secretary Annie Cook and her team had been a vocal campaigner for the initiative for several years.

NSW GOVERNMENT BACKS VISION FOR MALACHI HALL

The community in Oberon will benefit from more than $173,000 in funding to support to continuing restoration and fit-out of the historic Malachi Gilmore Hall as part of the NSW Government’s Infrastructure Grants program, Member for Bathurst MP Paul Toole said today.

Mr Toole said the funding will help return the well-known Art Deco building in Oberon’s main street to its former glory and demonstrates the government’s ongoing support for the local the community in the wake of the impacts of COVID-19 and bushfires.
