$375,000 FOR COUNCILS IN BATHURST ELECTORATE

 

Member for Bathurst Paul Toole today announced a $375,000 grant to a group of councils led by Bathurst Regional Council through the NSW Government’s $4 million Council Regional Capacity Building Program.

"This grant will enable Bathurst, Oberon, Lithgow and Mid-Western Councils to employ a skilled contaminated land professional for up to three years," Mr Toole said.

MORE OPPORTUNITIES FOR BATHURST AND WALLERAWANG PRESCHOOLERS

 

Preschoolers in the Bathurst electorate will have even more reasons to smile, thanks to an additional funding boost from the NSW Government for the Pied Piper Preschool and the Bathurst Early Childhood Intervention Service.

Pied Piper Preschool will receive $700,000 as part of the NSW Government’s Start Strong Capital Works Grants program for an extension to build an additional room to their existing facility.

NSW GOVERNMENT SUPPORT FOR PARKLAND DEVELOPMENT AT LLANARTH IN BATHURST

 

Bathurst MP Paul Toole today announced the NSW Government would be helping fund a new parkland development in the suburb of Llanarth.

The $950,000 development includes a grant of $100,000 to Bathurst Regional Country from the NSW Government’s Stronger Country Communities Fund (SCCF).

Mr Toole said the construction of Freeman Park in a new residential suburb of Bathurst would add to the quality of life for residents by providing green space for generations to come.

BLAYNEY SHIRE COUNCIL’S $300,000 FOR UPGRADES TO BURNT YARDS ROAD

 

 

 NSW Government providing grants of up to $300,000 towards costs of maintenance and improvements on council roads, eg shoulder repairs, road surface repairs and signage

 Recently completed projects which improve freight access for drought relief can be considered

 Improvements will be made to freight links that provide relief to other parts of the local road network

Councils are receiving much needed funds to support the increased movement of stock, feed and water as part of the drought relief.
