BLACK SPRINGS AND BURRAGA WINNERS THANKS TO NSW GOVERNMENT FUNDING BOOST

Community facilities in Burraga and Black Springs will be improved thanks to support from the NSW Government.
Bathurst MP Paul Toole today announced funding initiatives that will be welcomed by the local communities.
The first will see the tennis courts at Black Springs resurfaced with a grant of $59,569 with the aim of bringing back social tennis as a traditional recreational activity.
The second has allowed the installation of soft fall rubber surfaces under the playground equipment at both Black Springs and Burraga thanks to a NSW Government grant of $70,000.

NEW BATHURST BULLET SERVICE COMING

 

Train travellers in Bathurst and Lithgow will have more choice and flexibility when an additional NSW TrainLink train service to and from Sydney starts in 2020, Bathurst MP Paul Toole announced today.

The daily Bathurst Bullet express service leaves Bathurst in the morning for Sydney, stopping via Lithgow, and returns in the evening. While it has been a popular service since 2012, the timing of the once a day service is not ideal for all customers, thereby limiting the full benefits of the service.

LAST STAGE OF ROAD SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS ON GREAT WESTRN HIGHWAY AT BOWENFELS

 

Work is under way to deliver the final stage of safety improvements for motorists travelling on the Great Western Highway at Bowenfels.

Bathurst MP Paul Toole said the NSW Government is investing more than $900,000 to improve the condition of the road surface and install barriers and curve signage between Lockyer Street and Cooerwull Road.

MAJOR UPGRADES FOR PERTHVILLE VILLAGE SQUARE

 

Bathurst MP Paul Toole today announced NSW Government funding of $294,118 for major upgrades to the Perthville Village Square.

A contribution of $250,000 will also be made from Bathurst Regional Council, taking the cost of this initiative to $544,118.

Improvements will see multi-purpose sports courts and a fitness station installed on a parcel of land which is centrally located in the village.
