TOWARDS ZERO: 28 BRAND SPANKING NEW HIGHWAY PATROL VEHICLES

Member for Bathurst Paul Toole has welcomed $4.8 million in NSW Government funding to roll out 28 new highway patrol vehicles across the state to crack down on dangerous drivers and help reduce the road toll.

The vehicles are funded through the Community Road Safety Fund where speed and red light cameras fines go. These funds go directly back into important road safety initiatives such as high visibility police enforcement.

GRANTS TO PROTECT OBERON HERITAGE

Member for Bathurst Paul Toole today announced $39,250 in NSW Government heritage grants to help protect local heritage across the Bathurst Electorate.

There were six successful grant applicants in the Bathurst Electorate under this year’s round of funding, with Oberon Council receiving $6,500 through the Local Government Heritage Advisors stream.

GRANTS TO PROTECT BLAYNEY HERITAGE

Member for Bathurst Paul Toole today announced $39,250 in NSW Government heritage grants to help protect local heritage across the Bathurst Electorate.

There were six successful grant applicants in the Bathurst Electorate under this year’s round of funding, with two projects in Blayney benefiting from funds.

Under the Local Government Heritage Advisors stream Blayney Shire Council will receive $6,500 and under the Local Government Local Heritage Places – Small Grants Program, a further $6,500.
