Blayney Tackles Disease with Integrated Care

Health Minister Jillian Skinner and Member for Bathurst Paul Toole today visited the Blayney Multipurpose Service (MPS) and HealthOne to meet the new integrated care team tackling chronic and complex diseases in the community.
 
The integrated care team involves a range of health professionals and community services (GPs, community nurses, dieticians, physiotherapists, counsellors and pharmacists) working together to create unique care plans for enrolled patients.

Let's Drive Towards a Zero Road Toll

Locals across the Bathurst Electorate have been urged to take more care on our roads, as the NSW Government today launched a new advertising campaign ‘Towards Zero’, which highlights the human element of the road toll in an effort to reduce crashes and fatalities.  
 
State Member Paul Toole MP said NSW’s road toll is a state tragedy and road users can’t continue to be complacent or reckless on our roads.

Simultaneous Storytime with Elizabeth Chifley Preschool

National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) is an annual campaign that aims to encourage more young Australians to read and enjoy books. Now in its 16th successful year, this event aims to promote the value of reading and literacy, using an Australian children's book that explores age-appropriate themes, and addresses key learning areas of the National Curriculum. 
 
Member for Bathurst Paul Toole MP said the skill of reading is one for life and in addition to the educational benefits, reading is also a great past time for relaxing and enjoyment.

Special SES Members Recognised

Member for Bathurst Paul Toole MP was delighted to attend a recent presentation to two of Lithgow’s special SES Volunteers.
 
Mr Toole said, “This was such a special occasion where the presentation ceremony recognised the services of Kim and Dee Cummins as volunteer members of the NSW State Emergency Service.
