CALLING ALL GRAFFITI BUSTERS

 

‘Roll up your sleeves for a day by volunteering for Australia’s largest graffiti clean-up operation.’

That’s the message from Member for Bathurst Paul Toole who wants vandals’ tags wiped out on Graffiti Removal Day on Sunday, October 30.

“There’s no better way of condemning graffiti and showing your pride right across the Bathurst Electorate than joining this inspiring day of community action,” said Mr Toole.

CHANGED TRAFFIC CONDITIONS ON THE GREAT WESTERN HIGHWAY BETWEEN HARTLEY VALLEY AND FORTY BENDS

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Great Western Highway from Tuesday 1 November for safety upgrade work.

Funding of $250 million to upgrade the Great Western Highway between Hartley Valley and Forty Bends will improve traffic flow, safety and travel conditions for motorists.

To minimise the impact on residents and allow access for motorists and other road users, work will continue to be carried out at varying times at different sections of the project between Tuesday 1 November and Friday 23 December, weather permitting.

Member for Bathurst Paul Toole is pleased to congratulate the early childhood educators awarded a Rural and Remote Early Childhood Teaching Scholarship.

Mr Toole said it is a great opportunity for local educators to receive up to $10,000 in funding to help with the costs of upgrading their qualification to a four-year Bachelor’s degree.
