BMX Bike Park Recieves Funding

The NSW Government  investing in the 2016 BMX National Championships held in Bathurst in March 2016, attracting thousands of visitors and showcasing the region to a global audience.

The event took place at the newly constructed Bathurst Bike Park and Member for Bathurst Paul Toole announced that an additional Grant of $5,000 will be given to the Club to assist with the purchase of a portable building which will allow scoring and race control management to be conducted at the new site.

Blayney Environmental Grant Awarded to help manage Landfill Site

Member for Bathurst Paul Toole MP has welcomed a successful application for NSW Government Landfill Consolidation and Environmental Improvements Program for Blayney Shire Council. Total grant funding of $55,175 will aide improvements to landfill in Neville and address environmental issues at the local waste facilities.

Mr Toole said the Environmental Trust grants were part of the NSW Government’s $465.7 million Waste Less, Recycle More initiative.

Bathurst Motor Festival Receives Funding Boost

Member for Bathurst Paul Toole today had the opportunity to meet with the organisers Bathurst Motor Festival following the support of the NSW Government for the 6 hour Event being conducted in Bathurst this weekend.

Mr. Toole said, “Funding of $10,000 under the 2016 Regional Flagship Events Program was provided through the program which provides regional events with support for marketing and advertising.”

“Events like this play an important role to the local economy, helping to attract visitors and showcase our region.”

Courtside at Eglinton's Newset Sporting Facility

The long awaited Basketball Court for the Eglinton Community has now been completed and the Official Opening was held today.

Member for Bathurst Paul Toole said, “The construction of a court, shelter and picnic area will allow families to utilise facilities that have been unavailable to them for some time. This is a facility which will bring into line a village recreational zone which is comparable to surrounding larger areas. ”
