Fee Free Training Changing Lives - National Skills Week

With National Skills Week (29 Aug-4 Sept) putting the spotlight on the benefits of vocational training, the State Government is asking Bathurst Electorate  residents who may be dealing with difficult life circumstances to consider fee free training as a pathway to more positive life and career outcomes.

Member for Bathurst Paul Toole said the State Government’s fee exemptions and free scholarships were helping some of the state’s most vulnerable people ease the financial burden to rebuild their lives through training.

Western Region Academy Students Visit Parliament House

Member for Bathurst Paul Toole welcomed students and delegates from the Western Region Academy of Sport (WRAS) to Parliament House this week to recognise the NSW Academies of Sport and the outstanding young athletes we have in New South Wales.

The Bathurst area was well represented by the Chairman of WRAS Matthew Irvine, Board Member Len Graff, CEO Candice Boggs and Emily Watts, a current cycling and triathlon athlete from Hartley.

Grants Available for Local Sport and Recreation Projects - Apply Now!

Community groups, sports clubs and councils in the Bathurst Electorate are being encouraged to apply for up to $1 million dollars to help them deliver an important sports infrastructure project for their communities.

Member for Bathurst Paul Toole is inviting eligible groups to apply for grants between $500,000 and $1 million for new or upgraded sport and recreation infrastructure projects.
