$20,000 for Bathurst Thoroughbred Racing Club

Member for Bathurst Paul Toole has announced that the Bathurst Thoroughbred Racing Club have been given a special grant of $20,000 to assist them in the purchase of a Computerised Semaphore Board.
Mr Toole said, “Tyers Park in Bathurst is a major racing centre in Regional NSW and all involved work tirelessly to enhance their profile and to keep the facility maintained to meet the needs and standards of both the industry and their patrons.”

War Memorial Grants - Open

Member for Bathurst Paul Toole announced applications are now open for grants up to $60,000 to preserve important pieces of local military history and put them back on display. 
Mr Toole said the $1 million funding package is available to upgrade or install war memorial plaques and refurbish community halls used by veterans groups.

Member for Bathurst Paul Toole MP has announced a funding boost of $280 thousand for enhanced support services for women and children experiencing domestic and family violence in Lithgow.
"The NSW Government is determined to provide better support to domestic violence victims with this extra funding but we continue to need a community-wide effort to say violence is unacceptable," Mr. Toole said.

Expanded Daffodil Cottage Officially Opened

Health Minister Jillian Skinner and Member for Bathurst Paul Toole today officially opened Bathurst’s newly refurbished Daffodil Cottage.
They were joined by Daffodil Cottage advisory committee members on a tour of the expanded facility, which has provided cancer treatment and care for Bathurst and surrounding communities for 20 years.
The cottage reopened its doors in February 2016 after five months of refurbishment and expansion works to increase its capacity to meet the growing needs of the community.
