$4.6 MILLION FOR CENTRAL TABLELANDS COLLECTION FACILITY TO BE BASED IN BATHURST

 

A state-of-the-art collections facility is set to be built in Bathurst.

Bathurst MP Paul Toole joined Bathurst Mayor Cr Graeme Hanger today to announce the $4.6 million project would be jointly funded with $2.3 million coming from the NSW Government and matched with a further $2.3 million from Bathurst Regional Council.

LITHGOW GOLF CLUB SET FOR MAJOR TRANSFORMATION

 

LITHGOW Golf Club is set to go through a major transformation thanks to a $99,640 grant from the NSW Government’s Stronger Country Communities Fund.

Bathurst MP Paul Toole announced the good news for the club today and is looking forward to a rafter of upgrades taking place.

Mr Toole said the work will allow the facilities at Lithgow Golf Club to be improved to the highest standard to ensure the year-round usefulness of the course.

UPGRADE FOR LITHGOW SMALL ARMS MUSEUM

 

Visitors to Lithgow Small Arms Museum will soon noticed changes to the centre thanks to an $82,000 NSW Government grant.

Minister for Racing and Member for Bathurst Paul Toole said new metal mesh screens would be installed on the northern windows and large internal panels, to help control heating at the museum.

FIXING COUNTRY RAIL

 

Member for Bathurst Paul Toole MP today announced $24 million towards the rail route between Bathurst and Orange.

The funding comes as a part of the NSW Governments Fixing Country Rail Program, which is targeted at improving freight movements across the State.

"The Fixing Country Rail initiative will deliver a highly functional transport network across the state for moving freight in and out of regional areas, and will ease pressure on our local roads," Paul Toole MP said.
