WEED CONTROL FOR HASSANS WALLS RESERVE

Hassans Walls Reserve will benefit from a $29,990 grant to combat weeds thanks to the NSW Government’s Crown Reserve Improvement Fund.
Minister for Lands and Forestry and Member for Bathurst Paul Toole said eradication of noxious weeds would help protect neighbouring properties.
“The reserve is popular with local groups and is frequently used by the Lithgow Pony Club, recreational bike riders, walkers and bird watchers,” Mr Toole said.
“We want to ensure that all local visitors benefit, so it is important the natural habitat is maintained and even improved.

ROYAL FAR WEST RECEIVES GRANT FUNDING TO EXPAND NDIS SERVICES

Member for Bathurst Paul Toole has announced grant funding of $1.339 million for Royal Far West to help them expand its NDIS services for children with disability living in rural and remote areas of NSW.
Mr Toole said Royal Far West was a not-for-profit organisation based in Manly and provided development and capacity building programs for children and their families living in rural and remote parts of NSW.

HEADMASTER’S RESIDENCE TO RECEIVE MAKEOVER

Bathurst MP Paul Toole today announced $60,000 in funding to breathe new life into an iconic local building in the central business district of Bathurst through round two of the NSW Government’s Stronger Country Communities Fund.
The money will help fund a project which will repair, restore and conserve the historic headmaster’s residence located in the former TAFE precinct in the Bathurst Town Square.
The building, now owned by Bathurst Regional Council, forms part of a community, cultural and commercial hub within the heart of the city’s CBD.
