CEMENTA RECEIVES A HUGE BOOST

 

Cementa, the biennial four-day Australian contemporary arts festival in Kandos bringing together artists from urban and regional contexts, has been boosted by investment of $125,000 from the NSW Government, Member for Bathurst Paul Toole and Minister for the Arts Don Harwin announced today.

SECURING VITAL TOWN LINK

 

Cyclists and walkers in the Mid-Western region will benefit from upgrades to the Kandos-Rylstone shared pathway, thanks to new funding from the NSW government.

Bathurst MP Paul Toole has announced the Mid Western Regional Council will receive $15,000, on top of the Councils commitment of $30,000, to commence stage one of improvements to the 7km path.

SPORT THE BIG WINNER IN BATHURST

 

SPORT in Bathurst is a big winner today thanks to support from the NSW Government.

Bathurst MP Paul Toole has made stopovers at the Majellan Bowling Club and Loco Oval which is the home of the Bathurst City Colts Cricket Club.

He met with members of the Majellan to announce the club had been successful with its application for a $5000 Community Building Partnership grant.

BUSHRANGERS CONTINUE IMPROVMENTS

 

THE New Year will see the Bathurst Bushrangers continue their facility refurbishments thanks to support from the NSW Government.

Bathurst MP Paul Toole has announced the club will receive a Community Building Partnership (CBP) grant of $8850 for a new awning around the clubhouse.

"The Bushrangers have been gradually making improvements to their clubhouse for a period of time now, and this latest funding will help them construct further awnings around the building." Mr Toole said.
