UPGRADE FOR CARCOAR SHOWGROUND

Carcoar Showground will benefit from $14,500 in NSW Government funding to carry out maintenance works on the popular pavilion.
Minister for Lands and Forestry and Member for Bathurst Paul Toole said the main pavilion was regularly used by community groups as they showcase their skills and wares at local shows.
“Carcoar showground is a focal point of the local community, hosting a number of shows, functions and fundraisers each year,” Mr Toole said.

LYNDHURST VILLAGE LINK TAKES SHAPE

THE push towards making a safer link between the Lyndhurst Public School in the centre of the village and the nearby recreation ground is forging ahead thanks to support from the NSW Government.
Earlier this year Bathurst MP Paul Toole announced he had secured $194,659 from the NSW Government’s Stronger Country Communities Fund to kick-start the project.

ANGUS CLUES RECOGNISED FOR SPORTING ACHIEVEMENTS

Bathurst MP Paul Toole has recognised the sporting achievements of young Marrangaroo resident Angus Clues.
Angus, a student at Lithgow Public School, is an up and coming athlete and represented the state at national level.
Mr Toole congratulated the rising star and presented him with a specially signed certificate from the NSW Government in recognition of his representation.
“Angus was a member of the NSW PSSA athletics team which took part in the School Sport Australia 2017 Pacific School Games for track and field,” Mr Toole said.

MAJOR INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADES COMING FOR DENISON COLLEGE’S KELSO HIGH CAMPUS THANKS TO NSW GOVERNMENT


Bathurst MP Paul Toole has announced the NSW Government will fund a bus shelter at Denison College’s Kelso High School campus.
This bus shelter is the main interchange for more than 1000 students every day from schools across the Bathurst area.
This project, worth almost $120,000, will also provide shelter for students during times of inclement weather and protection during the summer months.
This custom-built shelter will be built on Boyd Street in front of Kelso High and will be 100 metres long and three metres deep.
