MAKING IT EASIER TO DO BUSINESS IN BLAYNEY SHIRE

Member for Bathurst Paul Toole today said business people in the Blayney Shire can now set up a café, restaurant or small bar in less than 90 days, with the local council ‘going live’ with the NSW Government’s Easy to do Business program.
Mr Toole said the decision by Blayney Shire Council to join the program paves the way for the emergence of a new foodie industry and café culture in the local area, which can now be established in a red-tape free zone.

$300,000 BOOST FOR CENTRAL WEST STARTUPS

Member for Bathurst Paul Toole today announced Bathurst’s first incubator, Upstairs, will share in $2.1 million in funding to boost jobs, drive collaboration and help startup communities thrive across the Central West and other regional areas.
Mr Toole said Jobs for NSW would provide $300,000 in funding to Upstairs as part of a new ‘Local Innovation Network’ program to turbocharge regional innovation.
“This is a terrific boost for startups in the Central West that will unlock the region’s enormous potential,” Mr Toole said.

MACQUARIE RIVER REHABILITATION IN BATHURST RECEIVES MAJOR FUNDING FROM THE NSW STATE GOVERNMENT

Local Member for the Bathurst Electorate Paul Toole today announced that $77,470 would go to Bathurst Regional Council for a local project focusing on the Macquarie River that will protect, restore and enhance the local environment.
Mr Toole congratulated council for successfully securing the funds under the 2017/18 round of the NSW Environmental Trust’s Restoration and Rehabilitation Grant Program, saying its project to would result in significant environmental benefits for the local community.

TREMAIN’S MILL DEVELOPMENT GAINING MOMENTUM THANKS TO CONTINUING SUPPORT FROM THE NSW GOVERNMENT

THE vision to develop the iconic Tremain’s Mill in Bathurst into a precinct that is home to the Australian Milling Museum continues to receive support from the NSW Government.
Bathurst MP Paul Toole today announced the Tremain’s Mill complex would receive funding of $100,000 from the Heritage Near Me Activation Grants program which aims to bring local heritage to life.
