Uralba Aged-Care looks to the future with launch of Solar array.

Uralba has installed a new 37kW solar system on its north facing roofs which which will provide about one third of its electricity usage. This is but one of a number of steps that Uralba is taking to ensure a secure future for the facility, its residents, and the community.
The solar facility and the new Uralba administration building – a restoration of the old maternity wing of the old Carcoar Hospital, was officially opened by Paul Toole MP.

THALES UNVEILS NEW INVESTMENT IN LITHGOW

The Member for Bathurst, the Hon Paul Toole MP, today unveiled a new $1.8 million honing machine on the rifle production line at Lithgow Arms.

The new equipment brings Thales Australia’s investment to more than $30 million in plant and equipment at Lithgow Arms since 2006.

This investment demonstrates Thales Australia’s continuing investment in maintaining Australia’s sovereign industrial capability in small arms research, design, development and manufacture.

NSW GOVERNMENT’S DROUGHT STIMULUS PACKAGE PROVIDING $4.9 MILLION FOR KELSO INDUSTRIAL LAND

An additional five hectares of industrial precinct, providing the infrastructure local businesses need to expand, attract new investment and generate jobs, will be developed at Kelso Industrial Park at Bathurst, thanks to $4.9 million in funding from the NSW Government’s Drought Stimulus Package.
The Kelso Industrial Land Development Project is part of the NSW Government’s $170 million Drought Stimulus Package.

NSW GOVERNMENT CONTINUES TO BACK VISION FOR TRANSFORMATON OF HISTORIC TREMAIN’S MILL

THE historic Tremain’s Mill precinct in Bathurst is set to receive further support from the NSW Government, bringing its total backing for the vision for the site to $350,000.

 

Bathurst MP Paul Toole today announced the transformation of this iconic location in lower Keppel Street would continue thanks to a Regional Tourism – Destination NSW grant of $150,000.

 

Mr Toole said the Regional Tourism – Destination NSW funding was for fixtures and fittings for the apartments in the 1884 Victoria Stores building in the Tremain’s Mill precinct.
