BUSHRANGERS CONTINUE IMPROVMENTS

THE New Year will see the Bathurst Bushrangers continue their facility refurbishments thanks to support from the NSW Government.

Bathurst MP Paul Toole has announced the club will receive a Community Building Partnership (CBP) grant of $8850 for a new awning around the clubhouse.

"The Bushrangers have been gradually making improvements to their clubhouse for a period of time now, and this latest funding will help them construct further awnings around the building." Mr Toole said.

"The awnings will help keep players and fans out of the inclement weather and the sun. It’s important to provide protection from the elements to encourage spectators to attend fixtures and events regardless of the weather."

The Community Building Partnership program has funded some 13,800 community projects since it commenced nearly a decade ago.
