This week the new Bathurst City Community centre will open the doors of the ‘Great Room’ for the first time as part of the Bathurst Winter Festival. The room as been updated and refreshed thanks to a $200,000 NSW Government Grant.
“The Great Room will provide the club with income from community functions, small life celebrations and business events it hosts, and is already being put to good use! It will be featured in the 2019 Winter Festival; as it hosts the ‘Winter Gala’”. Mr Toole Said.
Be amongst the first to celebrate in The Great Room as you dance the night away to live music by popular band Runaway and indulge in the BCCC’s grazing table & finger foods.
Club manager Rebecca Mathie is encouraging the community to attend the event, for a preview of the new space: “Patrons will enter a whimsical space of rainbows and stars as 2 worlds collide to bring you a cosmic paradise party. Bright lights and starry skies in our beautiful new space is going to make for an unforgettable evening.”
All income raised from the hire of the room will be injected back into the club and put towards maintaining the bowling greens, which provide social outings for much of the Bathurst community.
Check out the refreshed space yourself by attending the Winter Festival Winter Gala this Friday. More information can be found at:
