PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM FOR TOUCH FOOTY

Member for Bathurst Paul Toole has announced that the Bathurst Touch Football Association will receive a grant of $15,000 from the NSW Government.

The grant will allow the club to purchase a new public address system for its headquarters at Learmonth Park.

Mr Toole said the modern PA system in the clubhouse overlooking the playing fields will provide a huge boost to communication from the control room to players before, during and after games.

“The new loudspeakers will allow for clearer instruction and more efficient flows to gameplay and team changeover,” Mr Toole said.

“Sport plays such an important part in our way of life and I congratulate the touch footy club on its successful application. I look forward to seeing the benefits of this upgrade for the members and the community.”

Touch Football is played during the summer months at Learmonth Park by both men and women of all ages.
